BETHLEHEM PPP - Female

Updated: 4 days ago

Applications Close on Sunday 19th April at 7pm

Description

Sadly, we can't show photos of Bethlehem because she is a Phoenix Protection Programme pooch, so we are keeping her safe. BUT, if we did, you would absolutely fall in love with her big, soft, brown eyes and her very soulful look. And she is incredibly gentle and calm. She is a very dark brindle lady, almost black, but has brindle on her legs. She is a leaner Frenchie, long and lithe and can walk for miles. She has been spayed, breathes very well due a slightly longer nose and is in excellent health.

Beth is Mum to the adorable Muppets, but we know that she needs a very special kind of home, one with no other dogs, cats or fluffies - and these are not easy to come across. Thus, we are putting her out there right now so that we know she has a Forever Future to look forward to. She totally needs and deserves to be spoilt all on her own. If you need loyalty and friendship, an absolute BEST friend, then you need look no further than Beth. Yes, she dislikes other dogs/cats but that has been the result of her past and certainly not because of any malice in her. And she will need help to toilet train, although this process is already well under way but may relapse slightly with a move. And she piddles very infrequently - cast-iron bladder we think! Beth adores humans of all shapes and sizes, male, female, young, old - as long as they will stroke and cuddle her. She is great with children as they are good to cuddle too. Good points:

  • Cuddly

  • Loyal

  • Young but calm

  • Pretty

  • Eager to please

  • Walks beautifully on a lead

  • No known health problems

Not such good points:

  • Hates other dogs/cats

  • Snores - less so since giving birth

  • Steals bed covers

  • Stretches out over the whole bed

  • MUST be touching you to sleep (no spatial awareness), even if this is on your head

  • Needs to complete house-training, going well so far

  • Can jump onto things very well - do not leave chairs untucked from tables, it makes it just far too easy!

Be honest, don't those good-points hugely outweigh the not-so-good-points? ********************************************************************************************************************* If you would like to adopt Beth please ensure you fulfil all of the above and read the following: 1. Complete an Adoption Application form that can be found on our Facebook page in the 'files' tab at the top left or downloaded from the website. Before doing this please make sure that you fulfil the criteria required and read the Adoption Guidelines thoroughly - also in the files tab and available on the website. 2. Once completed with as much detail as possible please email or post your form to your Regional Coordinator. They will inform you if you meet the required criteria before passing the form to the Management Team for consideration. The most likely candidates will then receive a home visit, if not already checked, after which a decision will be taken and announced here. No names will be given out publicly. 3. The Adoption Fee of £350 will be due 14 days from the date of her arriving in your home. Please ensure you have read the Adoption Guidelines thoroughly and understand what is expected of you, and that you can afford to take on a rescue dog. No payment plans are available. 4. All worm and flea treatments, microchip details, and vaccinations will have been dealt with. Phoenix FBR will cover the cost of the remaining initial vaccination course, to be arranged in advance, if it has not been done. 5. Please be aware that all current government guidelines will be adhered to regarding Covid19 and this may delay delivery/collection but you will be kept up-dated with this. All Phoenix Rescue Dogs have 5 weeks free insurance on completion of Adoption contracts. By making an application you are agreeing that you have read all of the above and accept these conditions.

**** APPLICATIONS FOR BETHLEHEM WILL REMAIN OPEN UNTIL 7PM, SUNDAY 19TH APRIL 2020 AFTER WHICH THE CHECKING PROCESS WILL BEGIN AND NO FURTHER APPLICATIONS WILL BE TAKEN. THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL BE NOTIFIED BY CLOSE OF PLAY ON SUNDAY 26TH APRIL 2020 **** If you have previously applied for Beth and still wish to be considered, please advise your Regional Manager or RC.
