Medical Needs? 

None known. He drinks plenty of water, so access to outdoor space and regular toilet breaks will help him stay comfortable. 

Any additional training needs? 

Sloughi is a wonderfully quirky character who thrives in a calm, adult-only home. He’s a real cuddle-bug who adores human contact - if you’re showing skin, he’ll find it for a cheeky lick! He can be persistent with this affection, so will need gentle boundaries in place.

He’s still building confidence on walks and would much rather snooze on the sofa than head out on long treks. A garden to potter in would be ideal. His housetraining is mostly reliable, but with all the recent changes, he’s had a few setbacks - this is something we expect to improve again with routine and reassurance.

Type of home needed: 

Sloughi would love a quiet, predictable home where he can enjoy companionship without too much going on. He’d suit someone who’s around most of the time, ideally without other pets or young children, so he doesn’t have to share his humans and can soak up all the attention. A home that doesn’t mind a bit of barking or an overenthusiastic cuddle would be perfect. He’s not high maintenance - just a quirky lad who enjoys his space, cuddles on tap, and a toy or two to play with. He’s settled beautifully in his current foster home and is now ready to bring joy, laughs and lots of affection to his forever family.

This dog is currently in the North West.  Preference will be given to applicants nearest to that area or those willing to travel to collect.  

If the foster carer decides to adopt this dog at the end of the foster period, the fee will be £350.
